• Ride macro opportunities
• Expand geographically
• Add service offerings
• Pursue bolt-on acquisitions
Unfortunately, this generic list applies to pretty much every company in the world.
Specificity is key:
• How is this target differentiated and positioned to grow market share?
• Which strategic initiatives will take the company to the next level?
• What is your M&A pipeline; tell me about ongoing conversations.
• How will the transition to new governance/mgmt. elevate the company?
• Etc.
