Independent sponsor deals aren't confined to the lower-middle market and <$10m EBITDA. This monster deal raised €350-400m of debt & equity to close, proving there's no upper limit to deal size.
If it can be done in France, it can be done everywhere, and we'll see more and more mid- and large-cap deals out of the deal-by-deal PE ecosystem.
