I recently enjoyed a gorgeous day on the specially equipped sailboat Barba with Andreas B. Heide, my close friend who spends his time as an ocean conservationist and polar expeditionist. I even fielded a few work calls from the cabin, a much-preferred setting versus my normal office.
Barba's mission is to conduct research of environmental changes in the Arctic, interact with wildlife (e.g., scuba diving with orcas), and raise awareness through storytelling and education. The Barba Foundation seeks support from strategic partners and philanthropists.
